TREMOR OF MAGNITUDE 7.6
According to data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers. EMSC initially announced the earthquake's magnitude as 7.5, later updating it to 7.6. The United States Geological Survey, on the other hand, stated the magnitude of the earthquake in the Flores region as 7.7.

Following the main tremor, an aftershock of magnitude 6.2 also occurred in the region.
