Haluk Levent, head of the Ahbap Association, who could not give a clear answer about the fate of the funds collected to help earthquake victims, has been detained, and the charges against the famous singer have been revealed. It has been learned that as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Levent faces charges of violating the associations law, laundering assets derived from crime, and membership in an organization. Additionally, it was determined that Levent placed bets worth 990 million Turkish Lira over the last 6 years.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the Ahbap Association, the Association President Haluk Levent was taken into custody by the teams of the Istanbul Police Department Financial Crimes Branch on charges of 'violation of the Associations Law', 'laundering of assets derived from crime', and 'membership in an organization'.
THREE DIFFERENT CHARGES AGAINST LEVENT
As part of the investigation into the Ahbap Association by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, singer Haluk Levent was taken into custody in Bursa by the teams of the Istanbul Police Department Financial Crimes Branch. It was learned that Levent is accused of violating the Associations Law, laundering assets derived from crime, and membership in an organization.
HE BET 990 MILLION TL WORTH
It was determined that Ahbap Association President Haluk Levent placed bets worth 990 million lira between 2020 and 2026, lost 390 million lira, and 120 million lira was transferred from the Ahbap account to the account of his assistant Yeliz Kaya.
