A gang involved in blackmail and robbery was dismantled in Afyonkarahisar. It was determined that the suspects had been going to the homes of individuals they met on gay chat sites under the pretext of spending time with them, taking photos and blackmailing them.
According to information obtained in Afyonkarahisar, two homosexual individuals reported to the police that they were robbed and subjected to blackmail. Following the report, teams took action and detained three individuals whose names were not disclosed.
BLACKMAIL THROUGH GAY SITES
It was determined that the detained individuals went to the homes of the victims under the pretext of meeting with individuals they met on gay chat sites, took photos of the victims, and then blackmailed them, robbing them of valuable items and money found in the house.
GANG DISMANTLED
The gang was dismantled in a successful operation carried out by the police, and three individuals related to the incident were detained. It was reported that the detained individuals' procedures at the police station were ongoing and that they would be referred to the courthouse.
