Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made a statement regarding current issues. Speaking about the raincoats that received significant criticism from fans during the Super Cup match against Fenerbahçe, Dursun Özbek said, "I sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction regarding the raincoats distributed to our fans due to bad weather conditions. The image that emerged does not reflect the sensitivity that befits Galatasaray. This responsibility is ours, and such issues will not occur in the upcoming period."

'I APOLOGIZE FOR THE RAINCOATS'
Speaking about the criticisms regarding the raincoats distributed to fans during the Super Cup match against Fenerbahçe, Dursun Özbek apologized to the yellow-red fans, saying, 'I sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction regarding the raincoats distributed to our fans due to bad weather conditions. The image that emerged does not reflect the sensitivity that befits Galatasaray. This responsibility lies with us, and such issues will not occur in the upcoming period.'
'I CONDEMN WITH DISGRACE'
Özbek, who reacted to the incidents that occurred during the moment of silence held for Gökmen Özdenak, who passed away recently, said, "I condemn with disgrace the ugly chants rising from the rival team's stands during the moment of silence held in honor of Gökmen Özdenak, who is a very important value for Galatasaray and Turkish football, as well as the low-level posts made by the club's official social media accounts and some players after the match. I call on the Turkish Football Federation to take action regarding these ugly posts. There is a need to respect the pain in the values of not only our club but also our country. In such moments, while we should honor the competition between clubs, it is impossible for us to ignore the disrespect that has been shown."

"The result we received in the Super Cup Final last night has deeply saddened all of us. As the Galatasaray community, we are not accustomed to losing. Therefore, I wholeheartedly share the disappointment experienced by each of our fans.
First of all, I sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction regarding the raincoats distributed to our fans due to bad weather conditions as part of the organization. The image that emerged does not reflect the sensitivity that befits Galatasaray. This responsibility lies with us, and such issues will not occur in the upcoming period.
I also respect the criticisms regarding the transfer process. As we have previously stated, we are working to achieve our goals not with ordinary reinforcements, but with quality, vision, and proper planning. My request from our fans is to trust us and for us to complete this process together with strong solidarity. Our determination regarding transfers that will take our football team further and strengthen Galatasaray is clear, and our efforts continue uninterrupted.
