CAR COLLIDED WITH LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
The accident occurred around 1:30 PM at the Bağrıkurt location on the Konya-Afyonkarahisar highway. According to reports, a car with the license plate 42 DLT 94, driven by Sergen Dikmen (36), lost control and crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with a light commercial vehicle with the license plate 42 AJS 081, driven by Sami Kutlu.
FATHER AND SON LOST THEIR LIVES
Drivers Sami Kutlu and his son Yusuf Kutlu died at the scene, while the other driver Sergen Dikmen and the 3 passengers with him were injured. Upon notification, police, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The 4 injured were transported to hospitals in Konya by ambulances. The lifeless bodies of the father and son were taken to the Konya Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Investigations regarding the accident are ongoing.
