In Aksaray, during a fight that broke out over a debt issue, Osman B. shot and killed his friends Murat Evgin and Ali Selçuk with a gun. The suspect, who fled after the incident, was caught by JASAT teams in the house where he was hiding and was referred to the courthouse. The bodies were buried at noon.
In Aksaray, Osman B. (64), who killed his friends Murat Evgin (47) and Ali Selçuk (40) with a gun due to a debt dispute, was caught by the JASAT team in the house where he was hiding. After his procedures at the gendarmerie, Osman B. was referred to the courthouse.
The incident occurred yesterday around 13:30 in the Cami Altı area of Gençosman village. Osman B. went to the house of his friend Murat Evgin, who was engaged in animal husbandry, as there was a debt issue between them. At Evgin's side, Osman B. saw his friend Ali Selçuk, a container manufacturer, with whom he had a feud over money matters.
OPENED FIRE ON HIS TWO FRIENDS
The argument between the parties turned into a fight. During the fight, Osman B. fired 5 shots at Evgin and 4 shots at Selçuk with his pistol. Evgin and Selçuk, wounded in various parts of their bodies, collapsed in blood. Osman B. fled after the attack. Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon the reports of those in the vicinity who heard the gunshots. Medical teams determined that Evgin and Selçuk had lost their lives in their examination.
CAUGHT IN A JASAT OPERATION
The Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT), affiliated with the Aksaray Provincial Gendarmerie Command, caught the fugitive Osman B. in the house where he was hiding in the city center. After being taken into custody, Osman B. was referred to the courthouse today following his procedures at the gendarmerie.

The funeral of Ali Selçuk, the father of 2 children who was killed, was buried at noon today in Acıpınar village, and the funeral of Murat Evgin, the father of 3 children, was buried at the City Cemetery.
