As part of a drug investigation conducted by the gendarmerie in Istanbul, television personalities Ela Rumeysa Cebeci, Meltem Acet, and Hande Sarıoğlu were taken into custody. The three individuals were brought to the Forensic Medicine Institution for processing. After the completion of the process, the three presenters will be released.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau conducted an operation regarding the crime of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use or using drugs or stimulants."
3 BROADCASTERS SENT TO FORENSIC MEDICINE
In the operation, Meltem Acet, Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, and Hande Sarıoğlu were brought to the Istanbul Courthouse after their health checks. The suspects, who gave statements at the prosecutor's office, were later referred to the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK).
THEY WILL BE RELEASED
It was learned that the suspects would be released after their procedures at the ATK.
HANDE SARIOĞLU: THERE IS NO PERSONAL ISSUE
On the other hand, Hande Sarıoğlu made a statement on her social media account regarding the issue, saying: "My family, friends, and followers, I am at my home in Ankara. I am now on my way to Istanbul. I understand that everyone is calling me; I will go to understand the situation and give my statement. I will share with you when I have information.
