In Etimesgut, Ankara, a woman invited a man she met on social media to her home and, along with her boyfriend, robbed him. The victim, whose phone and wallet were taken, was assaulted. The police quickly apprehended and arrested the woman, A.Ü., and her boyfriend, A.C.Y., who was wanted for 16 crimes.
A.Ü., a woman who was taken into custody on the grounds of having invited a man she met through social media to her home and robbed him, along with her boyfriend A.C.Y., was arrested by the court they were brought before.
The incident occurred in the Etimesgut district. The woman, A.Ü., allegedly invited a man she met on social media to her home. A.Ü. took the man outside under the pretext of having him drink alcohol. During this time, her boyfriend A.C.Y. entered the house and hid. When the man, whose name is unknown, returned home, he was assaulted by the two suspects.

The two suspects, who robbed the victim of his phone, wallet, and credit card, fled the scene, leaving the victim at home. After a while, the man, who came to himself and asked for help to go outside, was seen by passersby, who reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the notification, teams from the Gasp Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate were dispatched to the scene.
THEY WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
As a result of the work carried out by the teams, the two suspects were taken into custody. It was determined that the male suspect A.C.Y. was wanted for 16 crimes. After their procedures at the police station, the two suspects were referred to the courthouse, where they were arrested by the court they were brought before.
