A car crashed into the back of a truck on the Ankara Ring Road, resulting in the death of 2 people and leaving 1 person seriously injured. Following the incident, a large number of fire and medical teams were dispatched, while bystanders who witnessed the aftermath of the accident were left in shock.
In Etimesgut, 2 people lost their lives and 1 person was seriously injured when a car crashed into a truck from behind.
LUXURY CAR CRASHED INTO TRUCK FROM BEHIND
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred at night on the highway heading towards Istanbul in the Eryaman area. The Mercedes car with license plate 06 KLS 68, driven by B.K., allegedly traveling at high speed, crashed into the truck with license plate 17 ZC 171, which was moving in the same direction.
DRAGGED FOR 300 METERS
As a result of the impact, the car went under the truck and was dragged for approximately 300 meters. A fire broke out in the car, and while B.K. and E.D. lost their lives at the scene, M.C. was seriously injured.
ONLOOKERS WERE LEFT IN SHOCK
After the accident, a large number of firefighters, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The truck was lifted with the help of a crane and removed from under the vehicle. As a result of the firefighters' efforts, the bodies were retrieved from the wreckage and taken to the forensic morgue. Those who saw the wreckage of the car were left in shock. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
