The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that four individuals have been arrested in connection with the investigation into the assault of a female student in the Keçiören district.
A detention order has been issued in the investigation regarding the assault of a high school student in the Keçiören district of Ankara. Five individuals who were taken into custody have been arrested.
According to a statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation was initiated ex officio after it was understood from news reports that a high school girl was assaulted by other girls and that the incident was recorded on video.
THEY WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
As part of the investigation, the statement of 9th-grade student S.N.H. (15) was taken, and suspects were identified based on her testimony and the content of the video recording. In this context, T.N.S. (14), N.K. (14), F.Ü. (14), and E.N.T. (15) were caught and taken into custody by the teams of the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Child Branch at their homes in Keçiören.
DETENTION ORDER ISSUED
The children involved in the crime, whose statements were taken by the Public Prosecutor, were referred to the Ankara Duty Magistrate's Court with a request for their arrest. The suspects were arrested for the crime of "depriving a child of their liberty by using force and threats together with multiple people."
For Y.A.C. and K.Ü., who were not present in the video recording but were considered to be related to the incident, a judicial control order was issued. Additionally, S.K., who was determined to be under 12 years old, was identified and handed over to her family.
