On the other hand, Samsunspor's head coach Thomas Reis also reacted to the decisions of referee Ozan Ergün in his statements after the match against Galatasaray. Reis said, "If there is something positive in our performance in the first half, it was our good defense. I do not believe there was an offside in the goal we scored. We had our own mistakes. We conceded two goals from our own mistakes. We fell behind 2-0 while trying to pass forward. After the second goal, I can say the match was over. We did our best, but Galatasaray was better than us."
