Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that operations against the ISIS terrorist organization were carried out in 23 provinces. During the operation, 105 suspects were apprehended, and a large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized.
The Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, announced that operations against the ISIS terrorist organization were carried out in 23 provinces. "Our operations against terrorist organizations continue uninterrupted 365 days a year, day and night," said Minister Yerlikaya, stating that 105 suspects were apprehended.
In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya used the following expressions:
"In our operations against the ISIS terrorist organization carried out by our Police and Gendarmerie in 23 provinces; 105 suspected members of the terrorist organization were apprehended.
Our operations against terrorist organizations continue uninterrupted 365 days a year, day and night, to ensure peace and stability in every region of our country.
As a result of the efforts carried out between March 19-27, 2025, coordinated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, the Gendarmerie General Command's Anti-Terrorism Department, and the Police General Directorate's Anti-Terrorism Department;
In the operations against the ISIS terrorist organization conducted in Aksaray, Ankara, Batman, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Elazığ, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kilis, Mardin, Mersin, Muğla, Osmaniye, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Uşak, Adana, Hatay, Istanbul, and Yalova, it was determined that the suspects apprehended;
were members of the ISIS terrorist organization,
provided financial support to the terrorist organization, and
made propaganda for the ISIS terrorist organization through their social media accounts.
As a result of the operations; a large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized.
