A 28-year-old imam named Fatih Göktaş, who was serving in the Çaykara district of Trabzon, died from carbon monoxide poisoning that leaked from a stove. His situation was noticed when he did not come to prayer, and he was found dead at his home by the teams. After the autopsy, his body was sent to his hometown of Konya.

NOTICED AFTER NOT COMING TO PRAYER
According to the information received, when 28-year-old Fatih Göktaş, who served at the Merkez Mosque in the Köknar neighborhood of the district, did not come to prayer, the neighborhood residents called 112 after being unable to reach him by phone.
TEAMS FOUND HIS BODY
Teams that arrived at the house where the young imam was alone determined in their initial examination that Göktaş had died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The body of Imam Fatih Göktaş was sent to his hometown of Konya after the autopsy at the Trabzon Forensic Medicine Institution.
