A person who entered a bakery in the Turgutlu district of Manisa shocked both the business owner and social media by stealing the donation box placed for SMA patient Feyyaz Alperen. The incident was captured by the security cameras of the establishment.
WHEN HE COULDN'T SEE THE DONATION BOX...
The business owner, Ferit Kızıltaş, noticed that the donation box was missing in the morning and first asked his employees. When it became clear that no one was aware of the situation, Kızıltaş checked the security cameras and saw that the box had been taken away by a person.
"I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AS UPSET IF IT HAD BEEN STOLEN FROM MY CASH REGISTER"
Expressing his deep sadness over the incident, Kızıltaş said, "At first, I didn't even think it was stolen; I asked my employees if someone had taken it. When no one knew anything, I looked at the camera and saw that the donation box had been stolen. I wouldn't have been as upset if money had been stolen from my cash register. I was shocked to see someone so low as to steal a donation box meant for a child with SMA. I never thought a person could fall to this level. I will file a necessary complaint," he stated.
It was learned that security camera footage related to the incident is being reviewed and that efforts will be made to capture the suspect.
