The Ankara Kızılay sign, which has become a trend on social media, was recently featured by CHP member Mustafa Sarıgül. While doing pull-ups, Sarıgül humorously called out to the youth, saying, "Kızılay is nice, but I'm also waiting for you at the Can Erzincan sign." This sign has become a photo spot among young people and has been replaced three times due to damage and theft.
CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül became the latest person to do pull-ups on the Kızılay sign, which has turned into a trend among young people in Ankara. Sarıgül, who met with the youth, made a humorous invitation to the young people beside him.
INVITATION TO CAN ERZİNCAN
Hanging from the sign on Kennedy Street, Sarıgül shared those moments and invited the young people to his hometown with the words, "Kızılay is nice, but I also expect you at the Can Erzincan sign."
The footage spread rapidly on social media.
THE SIGN ON THE AGENDA
The sign, which has become a photo spot among young people, has been replaced three times due to reasons such as theft and vandalism, and the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality had placed a pull-up bar behind the pole to prevent damage. Despite this, the trend continued, and during the intense crowd on November 17, two people were stabbed and injured during a dispute.
Most recently, the sign was removed again by unidentified individuals and was replaced for the fourth time by municipal teams.
