THE TRUCK DRIVER FLED WITHOUT STOPPING
The incident occurred at a police checkpoint on the Bingöl road. According to the information obtained, the Regional Traffic Inspection Branch teams, conducting checks, warned the driver to 'stop' as a truck entered the checkpoint quickly.
450 THOUSAND LIRA PENALTY IMPOSED
The driver, who did not comply with the police team's warning, began to flee. The teams that pursued the fleeing driver caught the truck driver in the Akçakiraz district. The driver M.K., who had previously lost his license to the police, was fined a total of 450 thousand lira: 200 thousand lira for driving without a license, 200 thousand lira for not complying with the stop warning, and 50 thousand lira for driving under the influence.
It was reported that the vehicle owner was fined 40 thousand lira for allowing someone to drive without a license.
