In a farm in Gaziantep, Fuat Orhan, who was seriously wounded by his brother Faruk Orhan after a 14-shot gunfire during an argument, died in the hospital despite all medical interventions.
In an incident that occurred in the morning hours at a farm in the rural Sinan neighborhood of Gaziantep's Şehitkamil district, a dispute broke out for an unknown reason between Fuat Orhan (26) and his brother Faruk Orhan (24). The argument quickly escalated into a fight, during which Faruk Orhan fired 14 shots at his older brother Fuat Orhan with a pistol he had on him. Fuat Orhan was seriously injured as bullets hit various parts of his body.
BROTHER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL DIES
After residents reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Health Center, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Following initial intervention at the scene, Fuat Orhan was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all medical interventions by doctors, Fuat Orhan could not be saved and died.
BODY HANDED OVER TO RELATIVES
The lifeless body of Fuat Orhan was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures. After the procedures were completed, Orhan's body was handed over to his relatives for burial in the Nizip district.
FLEEING SUSPECT CAUGHT
Faruk Orhan, who had disappeared after the incident, was apprehended and taken into custody as a result of an operation conducted by gendarmerie teams. The investigation into the incident continues.
