During the December council meeting of Yozgat Municipality held today, a discussion broke out among the council members.
THEY CAME FACE TO FACE
After AK Party Council Member Hüseyin Durusoy referred to the President as "Liar," the reaction from Renewed Welfare Party Council Member Yunus Erciyas, stating "You cannot call the President a liar, you are the liar," caused the tension to escalate.
SPILLED INTO THE CORRIDOR
The tension spilled out of the meeting room and into the corridor. The situation calmed down after other council members intervened to pacify the parties involved.

The altercation was also captured on camera. Additionally, last week, there had been another incident of tension between Mayor Kazım Arslan and the council members.
