Tensions arose between former president Hasan Arat and Beşiktaş Divan Council President Tevfik Yamantürk before the Beşiktaş Divan Council meeting. The Beşiktaş Club's 1st ordinary council meeting for the year 2025 is being held. The council meeting, which takes place at the ICEC Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center-Anatolian Auditorium, started at 10:30 AM.

Former president of Beşiktaş, Hasan Arat, attended the Council meeting. Arat, who has remained silent for a long time and planned to speak, arrived at the ICEC Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center-Anatolian Auditorium 15 minutes before the meeting.
After Arat entered the hall, a tension arose between him and Beşiktaş Council President Tevfik Yamantürk for reasons that are not yet known. The dispute ended after other members intervened. It has been learned that Arat will make statements during the meeting.
