Galatasaray has found an alternative for star player Victor Osimhen in case he leaves the team. The yellow-reds aim to add Victor Boniface, Osimhen's compatriot who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, to their squad.
Galatasaray, the champion of the Super League, is exhausting all its resources to keep Victor Osimhen in the squad, while also preparing a backup plan in case the star player decides to leave.
IF OSIMHEN DOESN'T WORK, THEN BONIFACE
Galatasaray has turned its attention to Germany with a joint decision from the coaching staff and management. The yellow-reds have put Victor Boniface, a world-renowned striker from Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen and a compatriot of Osimhen, on their agenda.
In the event of receiving a negative response from Osimhen, the yellow-reds will consider alternatives such as a loan deal or an installment purchase for Boniface, whose current market value is 40 million euros, and will present their offer to the German club.

This season, Boniface has played 27 matches for Bayer Leverkusen, scoring 11 goals and providing 2 assists. The Nigerian player has a contract with his club until 2028.
