Blood was spilled in a dispute over money and receivables at a workplace in Adana's Çukurova district. A person opened fire on the married couple he was arguing with, then, while fleeing, shot and killed their sons who were getting into his vehicle. In the incident, the father and his son lost their lives, while the injured mother continues to receive treatment. After the incident, the suspect, who abandoned his car and fled, was caught and detained shortly afterward.
Mehmet Nuri A., who came to a workplace on Turgut Özal Boulevard in the Çukurova district of Adana, shot Aytekin Fil and his wife Neslihan Fil after an argument over a debt dispute.
HE SHOT THEIR SON WHO GOT INTO HIS CAR WHILE HE WAS FLEEING
During the incident, the couple's son, Sinan Fil, who intervened with the suspect, got into the car driven by the suspect as he was fleeing. Thereupon, Mehmet Nuri A. also shot Sinan Fil in the head with a gun. The suspect then abandoned his car in the Gürselpaşa neighborhood and fled.
FATHER AND SON DIED, MOTHER INJURED
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Sinan Fil, whom the suspect shot with a gun in the vehicle, lost his life. Aytekin Fil, who was taken to the hospital, died despite all interventions, while it was learned that his wife's treatment continues.
HE WAS CAUGHT
Following the incident, teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate of the Adana Police Department, which launched a large-scale operation, caught the suspect. It was learned that the detained suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
