A hot development has occurred regarding Dominik Livakovic's departure from Fenerbahce. The Croatian goalkeeper has reached an agreement with Spanish giant Barcelona. Club-to-club negotiations between Fenerbahce and Barcelona for the transfer have also begun.
Dominik Livakovic, who is expected to leave Fenerbahce, could have his next destination be Barcelona. According to Diario Sport, significant progress has been made in the ongoing transfer talks between the Catalan giants and Fenerbahce. It was previously reported that Barcelona had initiated official contacts to add Livakovic to their squad. With the latest development, it has been suggested that the parties are one step closer to an agreement.
FENERBAHCE EXPECTS 3-4 MILLION EUROS
According to information previously reported by Ertan Suzgun, Fenerbahce is expected to generate a net transfer fee revenue of between 3 and 4 million euros from Livakovic's transfer. It was also stated that the Croatian goalkeeper's former club, Dinamo Zagreb, has been maintaining contacts with Fenerbahce for the transfer.
CONTRACT UNTIL 2028
Livakovic, whom Fenerbahce signed from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2023 for a transfer fee of 6.5 million euros, has a contract with the yellow-navy club that runs until June 30, 2028. The 31-year-old goalkeeper has played in 74 matches wearing the Fenerbahce jersey.
