A fire that broke out in a landfill in a village located in the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya spread to more than 10 houses. Many teams were dispatched to intervene in the fire. In the area where citizens were evacuated, efforts to extinguish the flames are ongoing. The narrow streets and closely built houses in the village are complicating the firefighting efforts. A helicopter is expected for aerial intervention in the fire.
MANY TEAMS HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED
The fire that broke out in the Kızılçukur village, located about 40 kilometers from the center of Tavşanlı, for an undetermined reason, quickly spread to some houses. Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, many teams from the Kütahya Forest Regional Directorate, Tavşanlı Municipality Fire Department, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, 112 Emergency Health, and gendarmerie were directed to the scene. The teams are making intense efforts to extinguish the flames that have engulfed more than 10 houses where citizens have been evacuated.
INTERVENTION IN THE FIRE CONTINUES
