It is alleged that the 54-year-old son-in-law committed this act because he wanted to get rid of the elderly woman's care. Following the incident, the son-in-law was arrested on suspicion of murder. If found guilty, he could face a 15-year prison sentence.

A groom in Russia has been arrested for causing the death of his mother-in-law by throwing her from the balcony on the fifth floor. Grainy footage shows the horrifying moment when the 84-year-old woman was dropped from the balcony of an apartment building in the Primorsky region of Artyom, Russia, from a height of 15 meters. The woman died at the scene due to multiple injuries. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed.

KILLED TO AVOID TAKING CARE OF THE ELDERLY WOMAN

The 54-year-old son-in-law was taken into custody by the police on suspicion of murder. The suspect claimed that he threw the victim from the balcony because he did not want to continue taking care of the elderly woman, stating that he wanted to get rid of her care.

The suspect will remain in custody for two months for further investigation. If found guilty, he could face a 15-year prison sentence.

This incident comes just days after a woman was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for throwing her newborn baby out of a window because she was worried that the baby would ruin her career.
