A 15-year-old high school student in Kayseri jumped from the window of their sixth-floor apartment after arguing with his brother due to having three failing grades on his report card. The child was taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away despite all interventions.

A high school freshman in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the window of his sixth-floor residence after arguing with his brother over having three failing grades on his report card.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on the top floor of a six-story building located on Celal Bayar Street in the Democracy Neighborhood of the district, where high school freshman T.Ş. (15) allegedly argued with his brother due to having three failing subjects on his report card. After the argument, T.Ş. jumped from the window of his residence. Upon noticing the situation, the family alerted the authorities, and police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

DIED IN THE HOSPITAL

While police teams took security measures in the area, medical teams transported T.Ş. to Erciyes University Medical Faculty Hospital by ambulance after their initial intervention. Despite all efforts made at the hospital, T.Ş. lost his life. The lifeless body of the high school student was taken to the hospital morgue.

An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
