The war between the US-Israel and Iran is in full swing on the 5th day. Iran's simultaneous attacks on both Israel and US bases in the Gulf have cornered Trump. The US President is reportedly searching for Kurdish leaders in Iraq and Iran while the CIA is also working to arm PKK members within Iran.

US President Donald Trump held a series of phone calls with Kurdish leaders in Iraq and Iran, as well as the so-called leaders of the PKK, following the US-Israel military operations against Iran.

THE FIRST MEETING WITH BARZANI AND TALABANI

It was reported that Trump spoke with Mesud Barzani and Bafel Talabani, two key figures in the politics of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The discussion reportedly focused on how the US and the Kurds could work together.

The Iraqi Kurds are seen as critical to the course of the war due to their possession of thousands of armed elements along the Iran-Iraq border and their control over strategic areas. Additionally, the Kurds in Iraq have close ties with the Kurdish minority in Iran.

HE MET WITH MUSTAFA HICRI IN IRAN

On the Iranian side, it was stated that Trump had a direct conversation with Mustafa Hicri, the leader of the Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party, who is in charge of the camps targeted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' drone attacks. Furthermore, an Iranian Kurdish source mentioned that some armed opposition groups in Iran are planning to carry out actions in the western part of the country, and these individuals are expecting support from the US and Israel.

"THEY ARE ARMING THE KURDS"

On the other hand, former Pentagon official and CNN national security expert Alex Plitsas claimed that "the US is clearly trying to accelerate the Iranian uprising process by arming the Kurds."

Plitsas stated, "As long as the Iranian people are generally unarmed and the security forces have not collapsed, it will be difficult for anyone to seize power unless they are armed."

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

While negotiations continue between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.

In response, Iran retaliated with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.

The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 787 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
