46 years in prison requested for the lawyer who brought drugs into the prison

"SHE CAME TO MEET ON THE DAY SHE WAS CAUGHT"

The detained M.T., who reported Halise Karapınarlı, stated in his testimony, "K.A. had bought the narcotic substance from Halise Karapınarlı and brought it to the ward. They had shared and used part of the substance with M.E. I gave Halise power of attorney regarding my files. About 3-4 days before this date, M.E. told me that Halise would bring narcotic substances again and asked me to receive these substances and bring them to him.

"SHE SAID THE DRUGS DID NOT BELONG TO HER"

On the day she was caught, Halise had come to the prison to meet me. I knew that Halise would bring narcotic substances to give to M.E. Therefore, I said that I wanted to meet with the chief guards during the day so that my friends would not have any problems regarding the narcotic substances. In the meeting I had, I informed that a lawyer named Halise Karapınarlı would come to meet me and that she would bring narcotic substances to give to the people staying in the same ward with me. I went to Halise to meet her. During the meeting, there was a bag on the side of the table in the room that I thought contained drugs. Halise pointed to this substance with her hand. I took this substance. After our meeting with the lawyer ended, I gave the substance I had received from this lawyer to the chief guards of the institution," he said. Halise Karapınarlı, on the other hand, stated that the drugs found in her house did not belong to her.
