In Edirnespor, which is in the 3rd League Group 4, the coaching staff and 17 players unilaterally terminated their contracts with the club due to financial difficulties. President Onur Yaren Ayaydın stated that they could not cope with the lack of economic support and the crisis.

In Edirnespor, which is in the 4th Group of the 3rd League, the technical staff and players have terminated their contracts with the club.

The yellow-red team, which has been in the news for financial difficulties for a while, found the campaigns and calls for support insufficient.

THEY COULDN'T SECURE THEIR RECEIVABLES

As the football players and technical staff could not secure their receivables from the club, they terminated their contracts and left the city.

The team is preparing for the match against Orduspor with players under 19 years old.

17 players terminated their contracts

Edirnespor President Onur Yaren Ayaydın stated in a press release that the players rightfully terminated their contracts unilaterally when they could not receive their dues. Ayaydın explained that all professional football players have left the team, saying, "We could not secure the sponsorships we wanted. There is also an economic crisis. When we could not get the support we wanted from the city's dynamics, the team ended up in this situation. We did everything we could, but it still didn't work. Now they are training with the under-19 team. They will play the match against Orduspor with this team. As the management, we have also decided to hold a congress. If a majority is not achieved tomorrow, we will hold our congress next week."

17 players terminated their contracts

Ayaydın also thanked Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer for supporting them in every way. The Sports Director Ahmet Erginer, who explained that 17 players from the team have terminated their contracts, said they would do their best in the match against Orduspor.
