Paris Jackson has filed a lawsuit against John Branca and John McClain, who manage her father Michael Jackson's estate, accusing them of misusing their positions to enrich themselves. The young star claims that millions of dollars have been left uninvested in accounts that were delivered four years late, that the executors received over $10 million in fees in 2021, and that the true beneficiaries of the estate have been harmed. Paris requested a reorganization, stating that the accounts do not reflect the truth.

Paris Jackson has filed a lawsuit claiming that John Branca and John McClain, who manage her father Michael Jackson's estate, have abused their positions to enrich themselves. The young star argued that millions of dollars have been mismanaged and that the true beneficiaries of the estate have suffered.

OBJECTION TO FOUR-YEAR DELAYED ACCOUNTS

According to a report by People, Paris Jackson, the 27-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, has initiated a new legal action in Los Angeles, alleging that the two executors managing the estate of the famous artist have misused their authority since his death. In a petition submitted on November 18, Paris stated that the accounts for the estate for the year 2021 were only provided to them in September, four years late, and she objected to this situation.

"MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ARE LEFT UNINVESTED"

Paris Jackson expressed that there are "large amounts of cash left uninvested" in the estate managed by executors John Branca and John McClain. The petition included the statement, "Paris is concerned that her father's estate is being used by John Branca for his own interests." Paris is among the equal beneficiaries of the estate along with her siblings Prince (28) and Bigi (23).

ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE PARTY CLAIMING "IT DOES NOT REFLECT THE TRUTH"

A source close to the estate management rejected Paris's claims, stating, "This is a new attempt by Paris Jackson's lawyers to cover up their mistakes. Paris's lawyers lost the case, and it was decided that they would pay the court costs. All beneficiaries are benefiting well from the estate."

CLAIM THAT EXECUTORS RECEIVED $10 MILLION IN 2021

In Paris Jackson's file, it was noted that the executors received more than $10 million in fees in 2021 alone. It was emphasized that this amount is "more than double" the annual payments made to the family. The young star stated that the executors received a total of $148.2 million by the end of 2021, which "far exceeded" the shares given to her and her siblings.

$464 MILLION IN CASH IS BEING HELD

Paris alleged that the executors are holding over $464 million in cash in the estate without investing it, and this amount has only generated a return of "less than 0.1%." The petition calculated that if this money were professionally managed, a profit of $41 million could be achieved.

NO ACCOUNTS FOR FOUR YEARS

Paris claimed that the executors have still not submitted accounts for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and alleged that they are "stalling to keep the estate open indefinitely." She argued that this delay is a deliberate strategy to maintain high-risk investments. The executors, who managed an estate with over $500 million in debt at the time of Michael Jackson's death, previously stated in their defenses that they have "made the estate a major force in the music industry again." They also labeled Paris's earlier claims of "gifts and payments totaling $625,000" as "deliberately false."

WHAT DOES PARIS WANT?

Paris Jackson is asking the court to declare the current account invalid and to require the executors to submit a new account that "fully discloses the actual transactions." The hearing for the case is scheduled for January 13, 2026.
