The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it lost contact with an An-26 military transport aircraft conducting a planned flight over the Crimean Peninsula yesterday at around 18:00 Moscow time. Following the incident, the ministry dispatched search and rescue teams to the suspicious area.
29 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
According to reports in the Russian press, there were 23 passengers and a crew of 6 on board the aircraft. It was announced that there were no survivors among the total of 29 people on the plane.
