In Istanbul's Esenler district, a chain-reaction traffic accident occurred when a minibus, allegedly weaving between lanes, collided with two cars. The minibus driver lost his life in the accident, while 5 people, including a child, were injured.

A minibus driven by Özcan Çakır in Istanbul's Esenler district, while swerving dangerously between lanes in traffic, first collided with a car driven by Bayram A., traveling in the same direction, and then with a car driven by Muhammet K.

HE SWERVED BETWEEN LANES AND LOST HIS LIFE

As vehicles skidded from the impact of the collision at the Atışalanı turnoff on Yeni Hal Yolu, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon reports from nearby citizens. Medical teams determined that minibus driver Özcan Çakır had died at the scene.

5 PEOPLE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

In the accident, Furkan A., Bayram A., Muhammet K., Harun K., and a child, Miraç A., were injured. After receiving first aid at the scene from medical teams, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances. It was learned that the injured are not in life-threatening condition.

The body of Özcan Çakır, who lost his life, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy following examinations at the scene. Police teams are continuing their investigation into the accident.
