Turkey is preparing for a driverless taxi revolution. Ankara-based micromobility giant Tripy is bringing L4-level fully autonomous technology, developed with over 100,000 hours of road testing, 3.8 million hours of engineering, and 80 million lines of code, to the country. The domestic startup, which is preparing to bring the electric MIFA 7 vehicles tested in China to Turkey, has completed its official applications to operate autonomous taxis in the world metropolis London, marking a global revolution.
Tripy, a pioneer in micromobility, is taking a giant step that will radically transform Turkey's transportation history. The technology of the future, Robotaxi, meticulously crafted with over 100 thousand hours of road tests, 3.8 million hours of engineering effort, and 80 million lines of code, is preparing to hit Turkish roads under Tripy's assurance.
THE ERA OF FULL AUTONOMOUS DRIVING AT LEVEL 4
Robotaxi, the cutting edge of artificial intelligence in transportation, operates fully autonomously with Level 4 self-driving capability, requiring no human intervention at the steering wheel. The advanced multi-sensor fusion systems in the vehicle process environmental data from the outside world in milliseconds, making real-time decisions and creating a flawless safety shield.
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED CHALLENGING TESTS IN CHINA
Tripy's strong collaboration with China-based technology giant Calmcar and its strategic partnership with SAIC have borne fruit. The MIFA 7 electric vehicles, specially developed within this partnership, were adapted for the most demanding Robotaxi operations and successfully completed testing processes in China. These fully autonomous electric vehicles are now heading to Turkey.
A GLOBAL VISION FROM TURKEY TO LONDON
Tripy, founded in Ankara in 2022 and quickly becoming one of Turkey's largest micromobility platforms with over 700,000 members and thousands of vehicles, is not only focused on the domestic market. While continuing its operational preparations in Turkey, the company has also completed official applications to operate Robotaxis in London.
Gaining strength with new investments, Tripy solidifies its position as a Turkish mobility giant that not imports technology but crosses borders to export technology abroad. The countdown has begun for the Robotaxi era, where passengers will simply sit back and enjoy the ride.
