Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz made scandalous statements during his tour of Gaza with army commanders. Saying that seeing the destruction in Gaza 'felt good,' Katz confirmed that 65 percent of the region has been occupied. Katz also admitted to the intention of creating a permanent Jewish presence by seizing northern Gaza lands and announced plans to establish military facilities in the area.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz reportedly toured the Gaza Strip yesterday with senior Israeli army commanders.
According to a report by Channel 14, a television network close to Israel's current government, Israeli army commanders presented Katz with data regarding the region, noting that the Israeli army has occupied 65 percent of the Gaza Strip.
SCANDALOUS WORDS: SEEING THE DESTRUCTION FEELS GOOD
During the tour, Katz gave an interview to Channel 14 and was asked "how he feels about the destroyed landscape of Gaza." He responded, "(Seeing the destruction in Gaza) feels good, doesn't it? All of this is the result of a deliberate policy implemented to eliminate threats," emphasizing that the Israeli army has occupied the area and all homes have been destroyed.
HE ALSO ADMITTED HIS INTENTION REGARDING THE GAZA STRIP
Katz also admitted the intention to seize lands in the northern Gaza Strip to establish a permanent Jewish presence. He argued that, as before, they plan to establish three Nahal facilities composed of military structures by seizing Palestinian lands in the region, claiming this is important for security.
