One of the 11 people injured in the collision between a bus and a fuel tanker in Hakkari has died. The heavy rain and storm affecting Hakkari also brought about traffic accidents.

THEY COLLIDED HEAD-ON

In the morning hours, a passenger bus belonging to Star Diyarbakır collided head-on with a fuel tanker at the Kaplıca location on the Hakkari-Van highway.

VEHICLES WERE SHATTERED

Upon notification from the surrounding people, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. As a result of the collision, 11 injured people were taken to the hospital by ambulances after the first interventions at the scene, while the vehicles sustained significant damage.

1 OF THE INJURED DIED

While one of the injured being treated at Hakkari State Hospital has died, it was reported that the treatment of the others is ongoing.
