In Adana, 46-year-old İbrahim Kiracı shot and killed his 13-year-old daughter Derin and his 11-year-old disabled son Doruk with a gun, and then committed suicide with the same weapon. It was reported that after killing his children, İbrahim Kiracı went to his landlord to explain the situation and asked him to call the police, but when he returned home, he took his own life.

The incident occurred around 21:00 in the Seyhan neighborhood of the central Yüreğir district. İbrahim Kiracı, who lived in an apartment on the 2nd floor of a 3-story building, shot his daughter Derin and his disabled son Doruk in the chest with a gun for unknown reasons. He then went to the landlord, told him he had killed his children, and asked him to call the police. After returning home, İbrahim Kiracı pressed the gun he used to shoot his children to his head and fired.

Upon the landlord's notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams that arrived at the scene determined that İbrahim Kiracı and his 2 children had lost their lives. After the police conducted an investigation at the scene, the lifeless bodies of İbrahim Kiracı and his children Derin and Doruk were taken to the morgue of the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
