While Turkey has been shaken by operations carried out as part of a drug investigation in recent days, 54.6 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized hidden inside the abdominal cavities of sheep in Siirt. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who announced the development, stated that the situation was understood from the stitch marks found on the sheep and that two suspects were detained during the operation.

STITCH MARKS DETECTED
In joint operations conducted by the Siirt and Hakkari Narcotic Crimes Fighting Branch Directorates and the Hakkari Intelligence Branch Directorate, it was determined that some of the small livestock in a trailer stopped in the Baykan district of Siirt had STITCH MARKS on the sides of their abdominal areas.
2 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY
As a result of the examinations, 54.6 kg of methamphetamine was seized hidden inside the abdominal cavities of 29 small livestock. In the operation, suspects named R.M. and K.Y. were taken into custody."
