A person allegedly under the influence of drugs in Istanbul's Beyoğlu climbed the exterior of a building and stood on electrical wires. The individual, reportedly attempting suicide, lost his balance during police persuasion efforts and fell onto a mattress opened by the fire department. The person, whose health condition was reported to be good, was captured on a mobile phone camera at the moment of the fall.
According to reports, a person under the influence of drugs climbed the exterior of a building in the Kuloğlu neighborhood of Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, then stood on electrical wires in an apparent suicide attempt.
FACE TO FACE WITH DEATH
Police, health, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. During the teams' efforts to persuade the individual, he lost his balance while trying to climb the building and fell onto a safety cushion opened by the fire department. Health teams provided on-site medical intervention to the person who fell onto the cushion. It was learned that the individual who attempted suicide is in good health.
