A video recorded by university student Rojin Kabaiş (21), who was found dead 18 days after going missing in Van in 2024, has emerged. In the video, Kabaiş explains how parents should approach their children.

Rojin Kabaiş, a first-year student in the Department of Child Development at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, went missing after leaving the dormitory on September 27, 2024. When there was no news from Kabaiş, a search operation was initiated. Rojin's lifeless body was found on October 15, 2024, on the beach in the Mollakasım neighborhood of the İpekyolu district. While the investigation is ongoing, a report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institution's Biology Specialization Department was added to the case file.

DNA FROM 2 DIFFERENT MALES DETECTED

The report stated that DNA profiles from two different males were detected in the samples taken from Rojin's chest area, referred to as the 'Sternal area,' and from the vaginal interior, labeled as 'intra vaginal 5,' mixed with the deceased's DNA. DNA samples were taken from a total of 134 individuals who were deemed to have intervened during the autopsy process after the body was taken from the crime scene to the Van Forensic Medicine Group Presidency Morgue Specialization Department. In the report prepared by the 5th Forensic Medicine Specialization Board, it was determined that the samples taken did not match the two DNA samples found, and it was noted that no contamination was detected and that the blood on the athlete's clothing belonged to another woman.

MOBILE PHONE SENT TO SPAIN

As part of the investigation by the Van Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the process of sending Kabaiş's phone to Spain for examination was completed as a result of the Ministry of Justice's initiatives. After the Spanish Ministry of Justice accepted Turkey's request, Kabaiş's phone was taken to Spain by officials from the Van Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and handed over to the authorities.

UNPUBLISHED VIDEO EMERGED

On the other hand, a video that Rojin Kabaiş recorded for her social media account before going to university has emerged. In the footage, Kabaiş explains how parents should approach their children. Kabaiş says, "Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Dear parents, valuable mothers, fathers, and individuals who love their children very much. I would like to remind you that we are here to talk about child development. You might be listening to me because you love your children so much. That's why I am here to give you my advice and be in front of you. At this time, child development care and child education are incredibly important topics.

"CHILDREN LOVE THEIR FATHERS MORE"

Everything is for our children. Do you think calling and scolding a child is a way they can understand? If I yell and scold you when you make a mistake, you would really hate me. Unfortunately, your child harbors such feelings towards you. The same situation applies to children. When you yell in anger, it only turns into hatred towards you from your child. You can observe this in your surroundings as well. For example, who feeds the child? Mothers do, fathers do not. That's why children love their fathers more. Fathers do not get angry much. Mothers also do not get angry at their convenience after all. Either they do not eat or they make a mess. Since mothers generally do these things, children naturally love their fathers more. Because their fathers never get angry with them," she said.
