A police raid was conducted at the Bebek Hotel in Istanbul, which has come under scrutiny for drug and prostitution allegations involving celebrities, resulting in the arrest of its owner and the manager.
The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes regarding the crimes of "possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use," "facilitating drug use," and "encouraging someone to engage in prostitution, facilitating the way for it, or mediating for prostitution or providing a place for it" is ongoing.
GENDARMERIE RAID ON BEBEK HOTEL
A striking development has occurred regarding Bebek Hotel in Istanbul, which has come to the forefront with allegations of drug use and prostitution, where the owner and the hotel manager have also been arrested. Gendarmerie teams raided the hotel and conducted a search.
HOTEL MANAGER AND OWNER ARRESTED
The prosecutor's office requested the arrest of suspects Arif Altunbulak (Bebek Hotel manager), Muzaffer Yıldırım (Bebek Hotel owner), Ceyda Ersoy, Gizem Özköroğlu, Ece Cerenbeli, Burak Altındağ, Sevgi Taşdan, Duygu Açıksöz, Nevin Şimşek, Merve Uslu, Lerna Elmas, Hakan Yıldız, Koray Beşli, Berna Aracı, Gülsüm Bayrak, Veysel Avcı, Özge Bitmez, Suat Yıldız, and Merve Eryiğit, while suspects Binnur Buse Alper, Sedef Selen Atmaca, and Gözde Anuk were referred to the peace criminal court with a request for judicial control measures in the form of "not leaving the residence."
The court decided to arrest the 19 suspects for whom arrest was requested, while it ruled that judicial control measures in the form of "not leaving the residence" would be applied to the other 3 suspects.
On the other hand, suspects Doğukan Güngör, Alya Şahinler, Ceren Yıldırım, and Saniye Deniz, who previously had a "travel ban" measure against them, were released after their statements to the prosecutor's office.
