A new trend in Russia, where young people and children transform themselves into their favorite animals, has stirred up the country.
A new trend that is rapidly spreading among young people in Russia has become one of the most discussed topics in recent days. In the trend called "Kvadrobing," children dressed in dog, cat, fox, and bear costumes mimic the movements of these animals.
RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS ESSENTIALLY DECLARED WAR
The Chairman of the Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, known for his closeness to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, expressed the view that the trend, which he claims "turns children into slaves," is part of a plan by the U.S. and the West to dehumanize Russians. Volodin stated, "At first, this may seem like a game and a joke, but there is a serious plan behind it aimed at rejecting everything human."
State Duma deputy Sergey Kolunov stated that families of young people participating in the "Kvadrobing" trend could face lawsuits. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had asked Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting last week, "Do you have kvadrobing too? This has been the most important topic for us lately."
In the Siberia region of the country, moments when a woman was seen walking with her son dressed as a dog caused a significant uproar. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
