A resident of Ankara, Turgut, who is battling cancer, has disowned his children.

Known as Ankaralı Turgut, the singer Turgut Karataş has been battling cancer for a while. The singer, who lost 13 kilos in 1.5 months, could not start smart drug treatment due to his financial situation, and he had become a hot topic on social media.

After the support given, Ankaralı Turgut said in a video he published on social media today that he has disowned his children who want to take the money collected for his treatment.

The folk singer expressed his feelings to his children with the following words; "They have been living off my money for 27 years, have they ever earned money themselves? We are feeding the son-in-law with father’s money! My son, Özlem, Hasret, they are all the same... They have become a gang. Have they ever eaten legal money? They want to take the money collected for my medication by threatening me. They are liars, slanderers. Let everyone know this."
