A young woman, a master's student attending interviews to find a job, described the unpaid work offer from the employer she interviewed with. Allegedly, the employer asked whether, if another candidate were hired, the young woman would agree to work without receiving any pay. Although the young woman recounted this interview with a laugh, she could not hide her astonishment at the offer.

The question a young woman job seeker said was directed at her in an interview she attended caused surprise. The young candidate, who is continuing her master's education, recounted that the employer asked her whether she would agree to work for free if another candidate were hired.

“IF WE HIRE SOMEONE ELSE, WILL YOU WORK FOR FREE?”

The young woman shared the dialogue she experienced in the job interview with her friend and described the offer she encountered. According to the claim, the employer told the candidate that they liked her very much but asked whether she would work for free if they hired another person.

The young candidate, who stated that she had been studying for years and had previously done volunteer work to improve her resume, could not hide her surprise when faced with this question.

THE EMPLOYER'S OFFER CAUSED DEBATE

After the young woman's post recounting the incident, what is expected of candidates in job interviews and the value of labor became a topic of discussion again.

Users evaluating the post reacted to the offer of unpaid work, stating that job seekers' education and experience cannot constitute a justification for making them work without pay.
