Following the court's absolute nullity decision enabling his return to the CHP chairmanship, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who had banned many artists from using his songs, now receives support. A group of artists stated: "Who knows if those who called someone a hero yesterday and a traitor today will not call today's declared heroes traitors tomorrow! We grant Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu the right to use our works as he wishes and clearly declare our support for him."

Following the court's absolute nullity decision allowing him to return to the CHP chairmanship, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who banned some artists from using their songs, received support from the art world. A group of artists issued a joint statement declaring their solidarity with Kılıçdaroğlu.

SUPPORT FOR KILIÇDAROĞLU

The statement included the following: "Is nullity bad, or are thighs delicious? Who knows if those who called someone a hero yesterday and a traitor today will not call today's heroes traitors tomorrow!

Some of our artist friends who have taken sides in the recent developments in the CHP have issued warnings via media and social media to prevent Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his supporters from using their works. Of course, artists have the right to do so under their legal rights within the scope of Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works. However, the real question we need to ask is this: Do they have the human and conscientious right to do so? It would not be right for us to give a direct answer to this question on behalf of humanity, but we cannot help but ask:

"YOU DECLARE YESTERDAY'S HERO A TRAITOR TODAY"

Won't people be questioned? While the judicial process is ongoing and there is no final court decision, when it has not yet been proven who is right and who is wrong, how and with what conscience can you declare a person a 'traitor'? Can you declare one side a traitor and the other a hero based solely on articles and videos from a few television channels and high-follower social media influencers, without even looking at court records?

Unfortunately, even in the art community, where the threshold of perception should be highest, perceptions have taken precedence over facts. How can you participate in the lynching of a person for whom you wrote songs, composed, and praised as a hero yesterday, when today certain groups declare them a traitor and lynch them? What documents, information, or evidence do you have? On what basis do you join this lynching?

"WE GRANT KILIÇDAROĞLU THE AUTHORITY TO USE ANY OF OUR WORKS"

We must ask this clearly: If municipalities and their resources were in the hands of Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu today, how many of you would be able to say, 'Don't use our works!' Being caught between the wallet and conscience is difficult!

We Oppose This Ban! 'We, the undersigned, owners of thousands of published works, creators, commentators, and producers of works with billions of views on digital platforms, hereby grant Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu the authority to use any of our works he wishes, and we openly declare that we stand by him.' And we would like to conclude by dedicating Immanuel Kant's words to all our artist friends and the public: 'Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me.'

We, the undersigned, have prepared this joint text of our own free will and initiative. All our artist friends who approve the text and wish to support us can join us by sharing this declaration.
