Seven people were injured in an explosion at a carpet factory in Gaziantep.

The incident occurred at the Behram Carpet Factory located in the Gaziantep 2nd Organized Industrial Zone. An explosion occurred in the steam boiler at the factory for an unknown reason. The force of the explosion caused the factory's walls to collapse. Seven people in the factory were injured. A large number of 112 health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

DAMAGE OCCURRED TO VEHICLES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA

While the injured were taken to the hospital after the initial intervention by the teams, some vehicles in the vicinity of the factory also sustained material damage. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
