US President Donald Trump met with the national security team in the Situation Room at the White House in the evening hours. The meeting was attended by Vice President James David Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff. The main agenda item of the meeting was the Iran-Israel war.

Following the meeting, a statement was released from the White House. The statement included, "Trump will make his decision on whether to attack Iran within two weeks."
