Turgay Tanrısevergil, who caused his 3-year-old child to roll down the stairs and get injured by kicking her in Eyüpsultan, has been arrested. It has been reported that the father, who has 51 criminal records, stated in his initial testimony at the police station that he warned his daughter not to put her hand in the electrical panel, but after she continued to try to do so, he kicked her.

On June 2nd in Eyüpsultan, a man named Turgay Tanrısevergil (35) kicked his 3-year-old daughter M.T. in the waist while she was on the stairs in front of the apartment. The child, who rolled down the stairs and was injured, was taken to the hospital.

A citizen who reported the incident said, "We called 183 about child abuse, nothing was done before, they constantly apply violence to their children, the camera footage shows them kicking the child and rolling her down the stairs," he stated.

CRUEL FATHER ARRESTED

In the investigation initiated regarding the incident, father Turgay Tanrısevergil was caught and detained for the crime of "intentional injury." After completing his procedures at the police station, the suspect was transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse located in Çağlayan. After giving his statement at the prosecutor's office, suspect Tanrısevergil was arrested by the on-duty judge upon the request for arrest.

Meanwhile, relatives of the arrested defendant attacked the reporter.
