AK Party Ankara Deputy and Deputy Chairman Ahmet Fethan Baykoç reacted to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's insults towards President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stating, "These are the last struggles of the exhausted CHP politics."
While a crisis is occurring in the CHP, the expression "lan" used by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel towards President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has ignited political debates.
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S INSULT TO PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN
Targeting individuals who left his party and making harsh statements regarding the mayoralties in Aydın, Özel addressed President Erdoğan, saying, "You were kicked out in Aydın with kicks and punches on March 31." Özel also referred to the CHP's Efeler District Chairman as "dishonest," while drawing attention with his remarks towards Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu.
AK PARTY MEMBER BAYKOÇ: "THE LAST GASPS OF EXHAUSTED CHP POLITICS"
AK Party Ankara Deputy and Deputy Chairman Ahmet Fethan Baykoç evaluated Özel's statements as "ugly words unprecedented in our political history." Baykoç's statements are as follows:
"The 'trustee' and 'so-called' chairman of the CHP has added another one to the dirty but fitting words directed at our esteemed President, which are unprecedented in our political history. These low-level words, which are a confession of his dirty mindset, are the last gasps of exhausted CHP politics.
The struggles for the chair with the former chairman he has stabbed in the back, and the struggles for throne, fortune, and rent within the party, are manifestations of their understanding that has led the CHP to this state.
It is evident that this understanding will not bring them any good, nor will it benefit the country."
