A lawyer serving as the Head of Legal Affairs and a Board Member at one of Turkey's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, A.Ö., has been taken to court over allegations of cheating on his spouse. As hotel records and security camera footage entered into the 50 million lira compensation lawsuit filed by his spouse revealed the scandal in all its nakedness, the court issued an interim ruling granting the husband 35,000 lira in monthly temporary alimony.
THE HUSBAND WHO CHASED THE BETRAYAL DOCUMENTED THE TRUTH
According to a report in Sabah; Aytunç Ö. began to suspect the behavior of his wife A.Ö., a senior executive and lawyer at one of Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. Acting on suspicion, the young man applied to the Istanbul Anatolian Family Court with concrete evidence he had gathered and filed for divorce. In the petition submitted to the court, it was requested that custody of the children be granted to the father, that 50 million TL in moral damages be paid, and that alimony be awarded.
CHAIN OF BETRAYAL IN ISTANBUL, SAPANCA, AND ETILER
Official documents included in the case file revealed that the process was a planned relationship rather than a momentary fling. According to hotel and accommodation records; the female lawyer first had a short 3-hour stay with her lover Bahtiyar Y. at a hotel inside Istanbul Airport on June 20, 2025. Then, on July 14, 2025, the couple stayed at a bungalow facility in Sapanca, Sakarya, and between August 26-29, 2025, it was officially documented that they stayed together continuously for 3 days and 3 nights at a luxury hotel in Etiler.
ENTERED THE FAMILY HOME 15 TIMES, CAMERAS RECORDED EVERY SECOND
The extent of the secret relationship extending to the family home was determined through a 40-day security camera review submitted to the court. According to the records, it was established that the lover entered the family home exactly 15 times, during both night and day hours.
In the camera details included in the petition; the individual getting out of his car at midnight on November 21, drinking his beverage, then undressing and running into the apartment building, the couple kissing in the parking lot on the evening of November 28, and them spending a long time in the vehicle on November 29 were all recorded second by second. The most scandalous detail occurred on December 13; moments when the female lawyer made inappropriate contact with her lover in the parking lot right next to her children were also captured on security cameras.
RELAXED BEHAVIOR IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN
In the petition submitted by the victimized spouse's lawyer, Erdost Balcı, it was emphasized that the lover came to the house with bouquets of flowers and shopping bags, interacted with the children in a fatherly manner, washed cars with them, and repeatedly engaged in inappropriate behavior in front of the young children. It was stated that the woman disregarded her maternal responsibilities and endangered the children's emotional safety.
INTERIM COURT RULING: 35,000 TL MONTHLY ALIMONY TO THE HUSBAND
The Family Court, evaluating the situation of the female Head of Legal Affairs, who remained silent in the face of the serious adultery allegations, and the evidence presented, made a critical interim decision. After examining the official records and camera evidence submitted, the court ruled that the female lawyer must pay 35,000 lira in monthly temporary alimony to her spouse Aytunç Ö. The trial continues as the parties have been duly notified.
