According to an audio recording published by the Washington Post, Israeli intelligence agents have threatened high-ranking generals in Iran by calling them and giving them a 12-hour deadline to flee with their families. Agents affiliated with Mossad have contacted at least 20 Iranian generals during the "Rising Lion Operation." The aim of Israel's move is to instill fear within the Iranian leadership and to weaken the regime from within, particularly by intimidating individuals in the second and third tiers of power.

As tensions rise between Israel and Iran, a voice recording revealed by the Washington Post sheds light on the events occurring in the region. It has emerged that Israeli intelligence agents threatened high-ranking generals in Iran over the phone, giving them 12 hours to flee with their families.

According to the report, agents affiliated with Mossad contacted at least 20 Iranian generals during the "Rising Lion Operation" that began on June 13. In these phone calls, the generals were told, "We will target you, your family, and your children. You have 12 hours to escape."

The voice recording obtained by the Washington Post features an Israeli agent saying the following to an Iranian general:

"I am telling you clearly. You have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you will be the next person on our list."

The agent continues the threat with these words:

"We will bury you. We are closer to you than your jugular vein. Don't forget that."

The Israeli agent also claims that while making these threats, Iranian Revolutionary Guard commanders Hossein Salami, Mohammad Bagheri, and former head of Iran's Security Council Ali Shamkhani were assassinated. While the Israeli side has claimed responsibility for these assassinations, Iranian media has asserted that Shamkhani is alive.

The agent poses the following questions to the generals:

"Do you want to be next? Do you want to ruin your wife and child too? No, right?"

The Iranian general on the phone gives a brief response:

"Okay, what should I do?"

The agent's answer is clear: The general is asked to record a video criticizing the Iranian regime and share it on Telegram within 12 hours. It is unknown whether the general complied with this request.

The aim of Israel's move is to instill fear within the Iranian administration and particularly to intimidate individuals in the second and third tiers, thereby weakening the regime from within. This will make it more difficult for Iran to find new names to replace the high-ranking officials who have been killed.

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office has refrained from commenting on the matter. This incident seems likely to further escalate tensions along the Iran-Israel line.
