In Diyarbakır, a dispute between a tradesman and a customer turned into a murder. Mazlum G. was shot and killed with a pistol by the tradesman he argued with while driving his car. Efforts have been initiated to capture the suspect who fled after the incident.
In the Sur district of Diyarbakır, on the Old Mardin Road, an armed attack occurred last night. According to allegations, an argument broke out between a shopkeeper and a customer. Later, as the customer got into his vehicle and drove away, the suspect, a shopkeeper whose name has not yet been learned, blocked the path of the car with license plate 21 AIN 308, driven by Mazlum G. During the argument that ensued, the suspect fired a pistol at Mazlum G. While Mazlum G. was injured, his car was also hit by numerous bullets.
COULD ONLY STOP AFTER HITTING A TREE
The car, whose handbrake was not engaged, traveled about 700 meters, first hitting the sidewalk and then a tree before stopping. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention, Mazlum G. was taken to the hospital but could not be saved despite all efforts by doctors. Mazlum G.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED FOR HIS CAPTURE
While investigations into the incident continue, police teams have begun efforts to capture the fleeing suspect.
